3 Camera Work Display by michaelduck

Pros: Great camera work from the handheld to the steadicam (or equivalent). I think the various camera options you used worked well in the specific situations. The music also worked well for the mood. I also liked the initial establishing shot of the desert.

Cons: I would like to have seen an establishing shot of where the action is taking place. You showed some shots at the end which could have been used more at the beginning to show what the place looks like prior to them going in. I also think a wide angle of the canyon would have been nice to see (if that was even possible to get).

Other Thoughts: I would probably consider this more of a documentary style genre than action, but nicely done.

Pros: Great camera movements and angles. Overall it was entertaining.

Cons: I also think it would have been cooler if it had some dialogue. The music could have been more fitting in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: It was very entertaining and looks like an amazing spot to hang out with friends. You definitely captured the feeling of a fun day.

Future Winners

Once IndieFilmShare is established and running smoothly, one of the visions is to award prizes. These prizes would be to the person with the highest rated film as well as the person with the most reviews. We would like to do this on a monthly basis to promote great films and constructive feedback. We will keep everyone updated on the website as well as through twitter.

A site for independent filmmakers to submit their independent film for peer reviews. Indiefilmshare was created for independent filmmaking and to give independent filmmakers a place to display their work and receive reviews from peers on how to make their work better and in return become a better independent filmmaker. Independent film is an art that improves with constructive criticism and learning from various filmmaking tips. The main focus of the site is on reviews of films and not necessarily on the films themselves. This allows filmmakers to become better and not just a showcase of their films. We hope to see all of the indie filmmakers from this site improve and become the type of filmmaker they always wanted to be. We also hope to see our filmmakers labor be recognized to a broader audience. Best of luck and look forward to seeing all of your work on this short films website.
